Empowering Rural Ghana with Education and Health
Help Ghana Thrive is committed to uplifting rural communities by enhancing education, health, and infrastructure. We provide essential resources and support that foster growth and improve quality of life.
School Supplies & Recreation
We provide school supplies (e.g., crayons, flashcards, rulers, compass and protractor sets, repurposed laptops) so teachers and children have necessary learning materials. We also distribute recreational equipment for children, including soccer balls, jerseys, and volleyballs, for students to participate in sports.
Medical Supplies & Equipment
We visit community health posts and talk with staff to assess their needs. We furnish health supplies and medical equipment (e.g., thermometers, blood pressure cuffs, baby baths, resuscitators, drip stands, wheelchairs, medical beds and screens).
Infrastructure Improvements
We assist communities in their infrastructure projects by purchasing building supplies and connecting local leaders with needed expertise. This new school building will house preschool and kindergarten classrooms, a computer lab, kitchen, dining area, and restrooms. The addition of a kitchen will allow the school to apply to the government feeding program to obtain food assistance for their 350 students.
